This event takes place at the AISD Performing Arts Center located at 1500 Barbara Jordan Blvd.
Is this event only for AISD schools?
No. This event is free and open to everyone who wants to join us!
Is this event for children of all ages?
The event is geared towards readers in grades 3-6, but all are welcome.
Where do I park? Is there free parking?
Free parking is available in the garage at the AISD Performing Arts Center
Is there transportation provided to the event?
All K-12 students with valid ID are able to ride Free on any Capital Metro Bus. Check bus schedules here.

Will lunch be provided?
Lunch is available for purchase from The AISD Nacho Average Food Truck or Stony's Pizza Food Truck from
11:00 am - 1:00 pm on site at the Performing Arts Center. There are also restaurants within walking distance of the Performing Arts Center and we invite you to bring a lunch from home.
Is food allowed inside the PAC?
No food or drink may be brought inside the Auditorium or the Dance Studio. You are welcome to eat lunch outside on the patio, or you may bring food with you into the Multipurpose Room or the Black Box Theater.
Will there be books for sale at the event?
Yes, BookPeople will be hosting a district-wide book fair at the event. Click here for a list of titles available for purchase.

May I bring books from home to get signed?
For every book purchased from BookPeople at the festival, you may bring up to 3 books from home to get signed at the event.
Can I volunteer at the event?

Posters will be printed and distributed to AISD campuses. Please check back for a PDF version.
